How to ban heavy trafic in one area or road?

Make a district either over the road or just a regular district and go under policy. Under one of the tabs you can enable the "Ban heavy Traffic".

Keep in mind that just replaces the larger trucks with many, many more smaller vans. The goods will still be shipped through that district. Just in smaller vehicles (and more of them)
