The hole idea off companies like cd keys is to stop companies dominating the digital market,cd keys take a risk they buy there cdkeys in advance if the games crap and dosnt sell they can lose money but if its ok they do ok.
The devs wont like them on here as you pay less for there product, for instance fallout 4 and the season pass was 63.00 pounds on release i got them from cd keys for steam for 42.00 pounds.
I do purchase games from steam but only if i think the game is really gonna be worth it and in steam sales, most games are not worth the price.
I have about 230 games on steam i would estimate that around 150 where purchased on steam but with the increasing amout off buggy and terrible games i now allways check cd keys before i purchase on steam.
The end off the day we pay console prices for game, even thou around 20% of the games cost is a licensing fee that go to sony and microsoft as they sell consoles at a loss and make the profit fronm the license fee on a game, well we are paying that same fee, except the greedy games companies are just adding it to the profits.
Moo you old scoundrel - I thought you mooved on to greener pastures? 3:-)
But yeah... grey market sites are always a gamble, even when they promise they aren't.
Friday is my last day! :)
They didn't get into any trouble legally - They merely bought up keys in bulk at prices CDPR weren't okay with. That's an entirely different discussion than sites like *** being a middleman between a private buyer, and a private seller - with no guarantees of an unused and legal key.
