Alternative to rail or ship frieght: A truck depot?
I couldn't find anything about this anywhere on the discussion boards, but I've been having an issue of "not enough goods to sell" at my commercial units and I found that if I bang a rail freight terminal or iindustrial units in the area it solves the problem forever, but seeing as my commercial and residential are generally mixed developments noise, pollution and traffic become a huge issue and everyone either dies or buggers off.

Now I was wondering if anyone has come up with or was thinking about creating a truck depot? Similar to Eddie Stobart's Crick depot or the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT)? So you have a depot like a rail terminal in your industrial areas which then ship good by ROAD to the heart of your city or communities without the need for a rail terminal?

But the game already does that. Everytime you need a shipment or produce goods, a truck is generated to transport the goods/stuff. I don't see the point in making trucks go to the depot just so that more trucks can transport goods from there.
