Railroad bug in the editor - space already occupied

When I build railroads in the asset editor, I have to do it in one attempt. If I build only part of the road and then try to continue, or another piece of railroad to it, the "space already occupied" occurs.

Look here - support pillars are between the roads, but space is still "occupied". Note, the last section above two lined highway is actually already exist, but for some reason shows red.

Have you tried to disable all mods before you enter the editor?

Yes. I had only two mods and both were disabled.

You mean, you don't have similar problem?

Some networks seem to have problems snapping to nodes properly when elevated, I've occasionally struggled with this with power lines. This never happens when you're ground level.
