is there any way to increase traffic flow intensity????
now my city has 400K population, I built a lot of public transportation like trains and subway to prevent traffic jam, but recently i found the traffic on the road was so light that most of the roads are green in the traffic condition chart

is there any way to increase traffic flow intensity???? A city with few cars on the road looks unprosperous...

please help..

I wish I had that problem, I have sooooo many people coming in and out off the highway Its backed up forever, and I only have about 10,000 people if that. I have buses, I didnt think id need all the other stuff if my city is so small, but yea, traffic jam bad it sucks

There is a 64k agent limit, of which 16k is traffic limit. So as your city grows it just doesn't simulate agents anymore. It seems to only simulate the growing parts of the city, while ignoring the stagnate areas so the simulation doesn't get flooded with cims and choke the engine out completely.

The AI is also designed for 9-tiles. Once you pass that, the behavior worsens rather quickly without mods.

thank you so much for the answer, I did use the 25 tiles mod,i wonder is there any mods which could solve the original traffic and simulation limit?

Sadly the game agent limits are hard coded into the game. CO has raised some of the limits already, but the basic traffic limit is too detrimental to minimum system requirements, that it doesn't get raised.
