Object reference not set to an instance of an object
so basically i have been getting an issue where my game won't let me play anything i load into, basically saying "object reference not set to an instance of an object", i am aware that this is caused by the game trying to load up assets that are missing, disabled or missing required assets, but i can't understand the report from LSM and need some help figuring out the assets causing the issue.

the main part of the report, ( the part which i think says the issue ) goes as such;

something probably very weird is the fact that steam wont open some of the links as they are potentially malicous or however you spell it, is this a concern?

Object reference is often abut running out of memory.

You may need to increase your Windows page file.

Missing assets are fine and won't corrupt your game. But missing assets just won't show up in your city. Just replace them with another asset.

Steam almost always does this. The data is in an odd format. But you can see above I just cut out the garbage and it should read:

thanks, ill make sure to increase my pagefile, you could be right since i have manually set it but i set it to 32,000, which is basically just the base capability of my ram, i could probably push it to 48,000 or should i just triple it?
MarkJohnson May 18, 2023 @ 10:32pm
Well, if you already have 32GB of RAM, then you should have up to 32GB of windows page file, or about 64GB of available memory. Once windows exceeds the size of your RAM, then it can have issues of crashing. So, you may need to increase the page file to 64GB. This will give you a total of 96GB of memory at your disposal.

But if you don't have thousands of workshop subscribed, then you may not have a memory issue. You may have a mod issue.

Can you post the memory numbers of loading screen mod?

well it lets me load into the game, but the warning keeps popping up and won't go away no matter how many times i click it, i'd say it would be a mod issue but i can't confirm, if you meant the numbers on LSM whilst loading into a city.

it says it has 10.36 GB of allocated page file,
system RAM usage is 19.98 GB / 31.93 GB
game allocated page file is 7.74 GB

I've increased the page file but the issue is still occouring.

( by the way when i showed the report log above it wasn't the whole thing, just the bottom part of the report so heres the top )

You need help from the paradox forums (the devs):

First, read this post and gather all info it asks for:
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/how-to-best-report-technical-issues-and-get-help.920608/

Then, take all if that info and start a new "Report Issue" and "attach" all files to the end of the post:
https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/support-bug-reports.879/
