They will travel to work, then travel home, then travel to commercial and leisure, and then travel home. Or something along those lines. The only reason a resident would take the metro to a different residential area would be to visit a park or attraction for its Leisure activity.

but I agree, res to res travel is rare.
Check for crossing points at the stations. If cims cant cross roads properly from a transport hub, they take a different route that can meaning changing PT lines unexpectedly. Since bus routes follow roads they tend to be at junctions more often, making crossing faster.
