DLC download issue

I just purchased airports, promenades and financial DLC's. When I clicked install now it said there was a compatibility issue with financial.. I verified integrity of files,2 were fixed, and I rebooted. When I opened steam I didn't see them download but they appear in my DLC list. They are showing as installed DLCs in Steam but how can I be sure in game before I start one, get 5 hours into it and find out somethings missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Simple look if the airport, the stock exchange and the promenades are in the game when you start playing. If there showed as installed there are usually installed.

Where would they be? Not all is unlocked when you first start.

They may be installed but not yet unlocked; they would be blacked out under the relevant tabs. Just hover over each blacked out item to see what it is and what milestone you need to reach for it to unlock.
