I hope for the best but unfortunately I expect the worst. No hopes no disappointments. I will be ecstatic if a sequel is announced but I would also be happy at this point if we got an engine upgrade.

Lets hope I am just being pessimistic.

When the Xcom creators announced a "Incredible new game" after 7 years after Xcom 2, all the fanbase was expecting Xcom 3.

But the game was a Marvel unrelated game that also sold poorly.

You never know what corporates push for, you can expect Colossal Order being forced to work on a battle royale for what we know.

I truly hope it is Cities 2, really.

HMM, That sounds promising. Could this mean CS2? maybe.

I checked out the "trailer" and it mentions three "NEW" games and four new expansions. A glimpse of Cities: Skylines is shown under the "expansions" tag.

Additionally, on their website it reads: The genre-defining studio behind global smash hit Cities: Skylines will reveal its newest incredible game.

My takeaway is that it is three brand new games unrelated to anything they already have (no sequels). So, either Cities: Skylines is in line for another expansion (DLC?) or something will be announced under the heading of "gameplay reveals and updates."

never gonna happen they have made that very clear.... they dont care about pc players anymore when they go console every Dev has proven this in the game industry !!!. game is getting so bad now i lost 500 hours of play time with all save game soem reason the engine and no mods as it happens with out any mod. game loads and then last bit it says head thread render blabla and it returns to windows shuts down full game engine i reinstalled it everything nothing has chanegd just from 1 day to next day it does not work anymore.

I am thinking it will be CS2. The game was leaked over a year ago, I'm surprised we haven't seen it yet. Not that I can or will play it since you will probably need a NASA super computer with 300 terabytes of RAM to run it. Though I think there will be a small DLC mini-package for CS1 too, so I look forward to that.
