Suddenly, big performance Issues!

Since 2 days i have big problems. The game is loading, but running slow (unplayable), FPS is dropping to 15 befor was over 60.
I startet with -noWorkshop but the problem is still the same.
Grafic and all thinks are updated.
I dont now what i can do, for 2 days the game was running 7 hours and no issus, very smoth gameplay by a modded city with 200000 population?

Hey mate, the issue is this game is not built for FPS. Problems will start with performance issues if the city is over 150k.

You can improve your RAM, your page file, you can get a new GPU but there is limited success you can get.,

You can adjust graphic settings and so on but that could be normal.

What is your Chip? RAM? GPU? page file?

Yes my friend, i now this game is slow i play it since 3 years.
but when i sart my city, or start a new city, i cant play it, its so laggy!
Before 2 days all was perfect, was runnig very smoth.

I have built a city with 450000 people, the game was runnig okay not perfect but okay.
In moment i really cant play, it feel like graphic issue.

and I have reinstall the game, all mods one by one.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
16 GB Ram
64-Bit-Betriebssystem, x64-
Windows 11 DirectX12
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050
3977 Vram

And about the game i have around 2000 assets and 40 mods

with 16GB RAM you don't have enough for this game as it loads everything when you start the game. If you don't have an SSD it is even slower. You need a page file with Windows, if you don't set it manually, Windows OS will increase it very very slowly.

It could be a mod which eats in your performance or the graphic settings. We could have a look at the mods you are using?

Are you sure that the game isn't using Radeon Graphics instead of the RTX? Sounds like you got a laptop.

this can make a big difference as the variable one will be constantly adapting it's size to your current needs... sadly this size adaptions are quite slow and can lead to problems if the game keeps sending stuff to RAM during such a size adaption.
you achive fixed size by seting min and max to the same value.

Go to graphics settings in windows, you can set which GPU to use with game there. It should select high performance automatically but sounds like it doesn't.

Display - Graphics - custom options for apps. Check also the default graphics settings while you are there.

I notice you have an APU (CPU with integrated gfx).

It's possible due to a recent driver change, the game is using your integrated graphics rather than your dedicated GPU.

I would look in your BIOS to see if you can disable your CPU's graphics, I could do it with my old AMD setup so you can probably do it too.
