How do you get trucks to use a particular ship cargo terminal instead of others?
I have export cargo from multiple industrial sites trying to use a single ship cargo terminal creating massive traffic jams. I have built other terminals, some closer to the industrial areas but trucks keep using the backed up terminal.

Is there a railroad connection to your cargo harbor? Use that instead. Other than that, build a one way direct route from your industry to the cargo harbor. Increase the speed limit of the road to get them to use it and give them a way back to your industry zones/areas.

Most of my industrial areas have their own rail depot as well as easy access to highways. I did try one way routs and maddeningly trucks would literally drive right by the ship terminal and keep going!. I finally deleted the offending ship terminal and all of a sudden all the others started getting used and traffic dramatically reduced. it was bizarre. Almost like that one terminal was the only one the trucks would use.

Yeah, I find cargo ship stations to want higher priority that the other cargo options.

Usually I put the cargo ship station a bit further away from the industrial/commercial district, and it seems to lessen the demands on the stations.
