Honestly love the building city sim this game gives, What would be cool if they added some military convoy/warehouses and so on so you can build a city and possible raid others city or see convoys on the highway moving nukes from cities areas to the middle of farm lands or seeing them on the high way.

As a bonus. That would give the army some target practise.

Find a tower defence game instead

If destroying stuff is your thing, you already have Natural Disasters.

For defense related games, you are best finding a tower defense game or a RTS - Supreme Commander is a good one, you build large bases only to have everything literally nuked away an hour later.
