I am loving it, especially with the TRAM network added. My city at the moment has nearly 100k in a Plaza district

Yeah it is very nice, and no traffic.

Lots of great assets and happy I bought it. Some "bugs" but they can be worked around. 235k but not from scratch after buying Plazas :D. Important to note that you can use the buildings in a district WITHOUT the pedestrian only designation.

It seems to be the most powerful DLC as far as I can see. You can re-route all a district's cargo and trash pick-ups to a single building, and have that point be on the other side of the map. So you can make self-contained island communities, or have massive industrial layouts with substantially less traffic. I saw a video of basically an entire city working with no traffic because the utility point was tucked away next to an incinerator and cargo terminal.

It is a good one to buy for all that others have said and more BUT not right now IMO as there are so many bugs which disrupt how this DLC is supposed to work (garbage and other service depots being the main one) that it's more trouble than it's worth. Having said that, I have been using all the high capacity buildings in "normal" zones (IE not zoning them as pedestrian areas) with success.

I agree it is buggy and have said that often LOL but somehow all my districts are happy and "working" DESPITE the obvious issues like "no truck being in use" when you click on the distribution buildings. So maybe underneath it all is it fine and just LOOKS wrong as the building are not showing us the actual count. The pedestrian zone really do help with traffic. It will be interesting to use it in a new game. That won't be for awhile for me though.

Thanks for the video. Will look if I haven't seen it already (I watched a few).

Meanwhile I wanted to come back with a few new "discoveries" (for ME).

I did try the DLC for Industry (mostly - it is actually mixed use with some commercial, offices and housing but a BIGGISH (again for me) farming district. It worked great. I hadn't thought about industry without vehicle traffic ^^. Shame on me.

AND when I had this big industry area the Garbage and Cargo service buildings DID start working big time with trucks and I had to put in bigger ones etc. So apparently the reason why "no trucks" were going out of the other areas was that my folks bought locally, road the public transport and recycled everything (Green Cities gal here). So THAT I guess is not really a bug although it was certainly a puzzle.

Meanwhile while any area that becomes repurposed for peds is happy and enjoying all the parks and such, I did an experiment with a new fairly small area and no matter what I did the game didn't recognize any parks -- even the ones that came with the new DLC. The whole area was solid red and there was no way I could change that. I have VERY few mods so I suspect that would happen with a new game in vanilla but not going to test it.

Anyway just passing that along.
