How to download or install assets into my game?

I'm really lost. Trying to use steam workshop. It had me create a folder, called "collection". I then went and favorited a bunch of assets. How do I add them to my collection and then how do I add them to my city? I can't find any how to videos except for editing assets.

I figured out how to add the stuff I favorited to my collection but they do not show up in my content manager when i launch the game. Whats the difference between adding to collection, favoriting, and subscribing?

You may be having the same issue that is plaguing many this week - susbscribed assets and mods are not showing up. I wonder when whatever programmer fubar'd and caused this is going to realize and FIX IT.

No luckily not having that problem. I just figured out subscribing them adds them to the content manager. I still have a lot to learn here.

Still not having luck. Anyone know how to get an assets in the game? Cant find any tutorials that show how to add and where they show up. I was able to get taco bell somehow. Don't remember what I did. It is considered a unique building. I have a chinese restaraunt that is also unique but it is not in the game. The cars and other buildings do not show up though. I don't want any mods that take away achievements though. Also, it seems some assets show up automatically in zoned areas from what I have researched. Some assets, like the taco bell, i actually choose a place to put it, like a park. Anyone point me to a good tutorial?
