End game goals?
Gotta say, after 70 hours this game is getting dry.

Start a new city. Build it up. Manage the issues. Then within 2 hours i've got such a large income I can do w/e I want. Get pop to 120k-130k then it slows down (The death wave etc).

It's all the same thing, everytime. What do you guys do to keep yourself interested?

It depends how your city is complex. 70 hrs is really, really low count to build all city. For me its just building only the airport same time...

Depends just about your creative!

Challenging map helps a lot.

The really isn't about challenge, more about just building awesome cities.

I modded the game to be a challenge, check the workshop, there atleast used to be some awesome disaster and difficulty mods.

No two cities as the same. Creativity- work to a brief with various restrictions that provide a challenge. Does London or New York have an "end game goal"? Are world cities ever "finishes/complete"? Continual change/evolution...

Yeah it is pretty much a true sandbox game, and workshop has mods to modifye that sandbox to your liking.

Well, you're having death waves. Try to fix them for starters.

Try to hit 500k pop? It is a challenge. You will need the 25-tile unlock.

The best challenge is to use no mods at all. The mods make it simpler than it already is.

Remember, this is an agent based simulator. You goal is to get cims from point A to point B in a TIMELY manner. This gets challenging as you city grows. Your death wave is likely from this problem. Hearses can't pick up cims in time.

Just resist the mods! Then when you master that, you can go nuts on mods to build as you please.

no way that someone with that bad of grammar is creative....

I agree with OP. I really liked this game when it first came out bc it picked up Sim City's torch and provided us with a good city builder. However, when I finally got a chance to play it during a free trial week, I found that it was very shallow and the whole game just feels cut-rate.

Even though I have these gripes, I still might throw down $10 for this game but Im hesitant...
no end game? thats a deal breaker.

I find the best way to get inspiration is to watch some of the youtubers that have created lets plays. Some of them (conflictedNerd is one I watch often to get ideas from) are really creative and make you see the game from a different angle.

Its definitely given me more than 100+ hours of additional game play.

The main thing I take from this game is that the 'end game' so to speak is what ever you make it. Thats the joy of sandbox games, for me anyway,
