How do I build on a hill, prettily?
I'm in a bit of a bind. I've got a hill that I want to terrace. Unfortunately, it's rather asymmetrical. I can't come up with a satisfactory approach that (1) leaves enough space between terraces, and (2) doesn't result in a terrace that "sags" due to the shape of the hill.

Maybe build a park there, maybe just built on the less steep parts

The slope is rather steep, so you have to keep each terrace as narrow as possible to make it look good. Use some narrow roads and zone only one side at most 2 cells deep. It would look nicer if you pre-grade the terrain along the road with the flatten tool. You can get away with bigger buildings if you pick the grade-friendly assets, like those: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1791882444 or https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1791879291

Build quays (using the Quay Anarchy' OR 'Network Anarchy' mods) and build them along the thick lines provides by the terrain info view (the one you've got activated in your screenshot). Level the terrain between the different steps/quays.

As maciek.slon stated, this is a pretty steep hill, and I believe the height difference between the thick lines is 10m. So those are indeed some big increments.
