[SOLVED] Warehouse- commercial goods broken?
This only started happening for me after the P&P update. My warehouses are working great except for any set for zoned commercial goods. These warehouses refuse to bring in any goods and will not send out what few goods they have unless I switch resource type. My commercial zones are having to directly import everything by rail and road.
I thought it could be mods so:
-I checked Compatibility Report; all good
-I unsubbed Transfer Manager and Call Again; no change
-resubbed those two mods; no change
-unsubbed Rebalanced Industries (super outdated); no change
I also:
-tried turning warehouses off and on; no change
-tried bulldozing and rebuilding warehouses; no change
No matter what i try warehouses set to commercial goods just don't function. Did I miss something about the P&P update that messed with how warehouses work?

Have exactly same problem. One of my commercial zones is built on hilltop and without a warehouse it cannot function properly. Inspecting the warehouse using mod 'transfer manager', it turns out that it tries to import goods but no order has been made. If I switch the resource type from commercial goods to any other, import orders will be made immediately from various sources. Think it should be a bug, similar to that intercity train cannot be disabled found months ago which troubles me a lot.

If you could connect your industry and commercial zones with rails and ships properly, warehouse is optional and not necessary. Cargo train terminal and harbor work similar as warehouse. In my case there is simply no way to build rails up to the commercial zone on top of a hill.

I had a similar issue before my whole build file got corrupted :(

One of my factories couldn't even export properly.

Only mod i had related to any wherehouse stuff is the fish warehouse

Found the solution.

Use the mentioned mod 'traffic manager ce v2.0.23'. In mods setting menu, turn on 'Warehouse first' option, then all warehouse that are set to store generic goods start to import goods from all available sources. Also, use this mod to specify outgoing district so as to ensure the stored goods goes to commercials in that district only.

I had very similar issues described by Angrod for several days but yesterday warehouses containing goods are now working fine again and operating as expected.

Goods warehouses filled to full and could not be depleted and sat at full despite setting them all to Empty. Two new cargo rail lines built but those Goods warehouses would not empty, only when I set the resource to something else but even then it was painfully slow. The amount of commercial reporting No Buyers for Goods was growing and growing - FCOL export those goods!

400k city was working just fine until this issue seemed to happen out of nowhere which was killing the city.

Anyway. I unsubbed from More Effective Transfer Manager and subbed instead to Transfer Manager CE v2.0.26 and all is now well again, plus the number of dead needing picking-up has improved by about 30% according to Watch It!

I also subscribe to Rebalanced Industries and Imports and Exports CEO.

Just to add, bulldozing and rebuilding anything, even trying to get a multicoloured building or object to appear in an alternative colour can be done using Move It by clicking Reset Objects.

My warehouses are working correctly again. I tried a bunch of things and couldn't fix it. I then went into the main menu options for Transfer Manager CE and deselected the "prefer local district services" global option. My commercial goods warehouses instantly started sending/receiving supplies. Not sure what was wrong.
