How to get rid of disconnected metro station icon?

I had placed a metro station in a certain point of the city, that ended up not being a good idea as it couldn't connect to the other stations due to other tunnels being in the way.

So, I bulldozered it, yet the icon remains pulsing on the map, even after several days passed. I can't see any other transportation-related structures that could justify that.

I should note I haven't played in a long time and I'm using a save from before I bought the Snowfall and After Dark DLCs, if that could have anything to do with it.

Does anyone know what could be causing this or if it's a bug? Screenshots below.

right click on them when selecting line tool

When you removed the metro/subway station it left behind metro "line" possibly, or its starting point. Have you tried to remove it by the "Metro line" or stop tool? Try to highlight the spot with the line/stop tool then right click just like you would with bus stops or train stops. I have had a case where I could not remove the icon because it was part of another line that was still operating. And that line was in limbo till I repaired it. it wouldn't delete till I made the mental connection to its origin and removed the other line from its starting point, then that icon disappeared to.

As NEETAH said, choose the create line icon and right click the stop and it deletes
