The lake should have a water spawner in it continually adding water to the lake from the ether of where water comes from.

Make a canal from another water source or make the lake deeper using terraforming tools.

Why didn't you just simply put the sewer outtake (or whatever its called) and put the intake next to the sea/river I haven't tried it myself because I just realized that's how I should do, so I typed first and test later lol.

Mhm but my starter area was far away from a sea so i build all the water stuff near the lake but i could just move it to the sea. Ya might be a good idea lol.

I'm gonna try to put the outtake in my lake and see how it goes, I'm trying to keep the sea as clean as possible, so far I've got 3% pollution and 0% on water in a full grown city.

Well, first every water source has a spawner (beside sea) and like IRL at some point if you suck more than it produce it'll run dry...

In this case, vanilla solution is, as already suggested, water towers.

Now for the bigger cities, solutions are often found on assets that are a mix of water treatements that give you back as well 100% clean water. And probably assets water towers that gives you far more water than the small vanilla ones

So up to you, but I would go take a look at the workshop, and search for water treatements assets, and please read description of each, as some may, like water towers, need clean ground to not pollute your water system...

Yeah, those lakes run dry of you put too many water pumps in. Spread out the water pumps around your city and you'll be fine. Just don't clump them up together or they will dry up rivers as well.

Thanks for all the replys. I guess i just download usefull water pump mods its the fastest way to solve this lol.

Plus, NEVER put Water Towers anywhere near a site with any pollution. Check you Pollution icon first.
