Flooded grasslands turned to sand after drying up??
So I built a dam and you know what happens next. Like most newbies I didn't know that poor dam planning will result to flooding. So after a part of my city was flooded and after some flood control, a certain part of my city was still flooded. I lowered the elevation of some areas and made a small natural canal that will lead to the river where the flood started and my creation not only lead to a beautiful natural canal but an awesome waterfall. Anyway after the flood cleared on the affected grassland it became a sandy area. Any advice on how i can make it a grassland again?

Does it have to be grasslands? Just add a few small shrubs and you'll see the the green appear.

well i want it to be grasslands because the affected area is a highway. you wouldn't want a sandy area on your main highways wouldn't you? lol. ok, i'll try your suggestion. Thanks
