Fullscreen Cannot Be Minimized
So when this game is in fullscreen I cannot alt tab out to my desktop. I can alt tab to a chrome page that pulls up over the game but the game is always in the back of everything. Is there a way to fix this? I just want to be able to minimize the game like every other game....

I know the feeling. This is the only game that does this and it's kinda annoying. I'll subscribe to this and see where it leads.

Your key combination is incorrect. If you have Windows, at ALL Fullscreen Games you can switch to the window version with ALT+ENTER.

To switch to your desktop, press the "Windows"-Button.

Sorry but you're incorrect. I have no trouble with other games and I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't either.

Can confirm that I only have this issue with this game.

I'm sorry, but if you have a windows operating system, any keyboard with a windows key can this.

Ok, on my pc's it always works. However, it is your problem, not mine. You can accept help or not.

The only thing this does is toggle fullscreen and windowed mode. I dont want windowed mode. I want to be in fullscreen and then be able to minimize my game and be able to look at my desktop. This game does not minimize in fullscreen, all it does is pull other windows up in front of the game.

??? Every window can be minimized into the taskbar . This is elementary pc-knowing.
If a mouse click is too much work for you, no one can help you.

Every computer is different. You should have known that when you posted your so-called instructions!

On my pc, pressing the Win key + Tab changes windows, BUT it does NOT minimise the window. Pressing Alt+Tab minimises games and other programs with no problems, except for Cities Skylines.

I'm sorry, but you writes constantly about the keyboard shortcuts Win key + Tab and Alt+Tab, this is the WRONG combination!

ONLY pressing the "Windows" key during the fullscreen game switches to the desktop. The combination ALT+ENTER switch to the windowed mode. You can now reduce the window size with the mouse and then with a mouseclick to the "_" field on the right corner the window switches into the taskbar.
In both cases you can see your desktop.
And, with the same operating system the function is the same on all computers, NO difference!

I give up, you have no idea ...

You can minimize the game in the settings on top of the graphics settings.
