Launcher Trouble

So I've looked thru and tried pretty much ever Launcher solution I've read. Still no help. Tried uninstalling and re-installing Cities completely..... Running no workshop, etc, etc...
I click Play and it just sits there.. No Launcher window or anything.. The "Play" button now says "Stop" though.. The ONLY way i can get it to play is to Uninstall the Launcher and restart. Then go thru Steam and play.. It will run that one time only though.. If i quit to main main, it will not reload a game again.. If i quit to desktop it just sits there.. Basically, once i quit a game, i have to Uninstall the Launcher, restart computer.. Then it will run again.. This really sucks..

1# That depends on the amount of subscribed content, and the number of DLC you have. Here's an indication of the amount of RAM/pagefile needed:
4GB RAM: Base game
8GB RAM: Base game + 100 assets, 1-2 DLC's
16GB RAM: Base game + 500 assets, 5-10 DLC's
32GB RAM: Base game + 2000 assets, 15 DLC's
64GB RAM: Base game + 4000 assets, All DLC's

I' had a few mods and just a few assets.. Ram shown on loader screen got up to maybe 16gb. i have al lther DLCs except snowfall.. I tried unsubscribing form assets as well.. And also tried the No workshop startup script to try vanilla. No change. I loaded up all my fave mods & assets again and it stil does it...

I've been jumping through hoops too, none of the solutions work. JMO, Steam should be handing out refunds if Paradox refuses to issue a bug fix. I really liked City Skylines, but if there is a CS2, I'm probably gonna skip it.

I can't even get Steam to launch, let alone the Paradox launcher.

Anyone else having issues with Steam login?

It's Wednesday, Steam is probably doing Maintenance.

Then I'm afraid I need you to make a report on our support forum as we'll need your log to see what's happening. Bypassing the launcher with the .bat file should solve any issues with the launcher, so you appear to have another issue.

Please make a report here and include what you have already tried (so it isn't suggested again) and any details about what's happening such as errors you get, how far you get into the game, what Steam says, etc. Thanks!
