Not Enough Buyers for Products Solution
"Not Enough Buyers for Products" This is the most difficult problem in 75hrs of gameplay that I have encountered, and I haven't found anyone else with my solution. I wish to share my experience with the community and save some headaches. I have only experienced this issue with High Density Commercial zone buildings. This problem occurs when you have too much High Density Commercial zone and not enough Low Density Commercial zone. The solution is to remove a large portion of your High Density zone until the issue resolves. Then slowly add Low Density Commercial zone. If you add too much Low Density Commercial Zone typically you will get "Not Enough Goods" which can be resolved by adding more Industrial (If you're in demand) or removing some Low Density Commercial. Having a highly educated public seems to play a role in this. I believe it is because educated unemployeed individuals will choose to fill the High Density Commercial and you will possibly not have enough workers in your Low Density Commercial Despite Employment rate. I have not attempted to resolve this issue solely by education however, and I do not recommend you attempt that. It takes significant amount of time and effort to dumb down a population.

The only relationship between low density and high density commercial zone if the number of workers and "customers". You solved your problem by removing a large number of high density, but you could have solved it just as well by removing a large amount of low density.

Not enough Buyers means you don't have enough customers. Build more residential and remove which ever density of commercial you want to remove.

You are inaccurate unfortunately. Populations are not always willing to grow. This scenario occurs frequently with dying residential numbers and or stable city populations. Removing Low Density increases the problem.

actually I think I had this problem with a stable growing population as well.

Adding a Bus stop OR metro will solve your Problem

good Luck

also untrue. Tried all forms of transportation all are ineffective. Had bus/cabs dropping large population right at store fronts. This does not solve the issue.

The reason you get the "not enough goods to sell" mean that you don't have enough goods to sell. i.e. you have a goods shortage. Building more industry to supply the demand or adding a cargo station will supply enough goods and eliminate the message.

reducing the density is a work around as you have reduced demand. i.e. low density needs less goods than high density. or you could have just replaced commerce with other zone types for the same result.

Not enough buyer is the opposite. Industry can't sell goods to commerce usually because they are too far away or too little commerce built.

Traffic can cause these issues as well. Watch your imports/export of goods, they should be zero or very little imports, unless you segrefate commerce from industry in which you need to import goods. Never export goods ever, it just creates excess traffic.

You should always have the highest education as possible, no exception!

If you have worker shortages, then you need to increase unemployment at least 4% maybe 10% if you have mods.

I am discussing a different issue all together and I already explained some of what you said. The "Not enough buyers of goods" message that industry produces is a different issue than "Not enough buyers of PRODUCTS" message from High Density Commercial.

We are talking about the same thing. You need to follow the flow of goods. Yes, products are goods from industry. Your industry needs to supply goods to commerce so they can sell products. i.e. No goods being delivered to commerce means no products to sell to shoppers.

it's all about following the goods. Products aren't even tracked in the game.

Shrugs. I'm not wasting my time. Think what you want.

I will not be following this post in the future. I am tired of discussing it with people who have poor reading comprehension. Hopefully my solution helps people.
