Natural Resources brush error and pointer issue

Since getting the new DLCs I've had a few issues.

The first being that a few minutes into playing the game the pointer gets stuck on the last thing i clicked. for example, if the last thing i used a was a road even though I am completely out of that tab/option the pointer is still trying to draw a road.

The second just cropped up today. When i load in to start a new map I get a "Natural resources brush" error and the screen is a weird brown/red.

Anyone else with this issue?

I think you're subscribed to some mods that got broken by the latest update. Can you post a list of the mods (not assets) you're subscribed to (both enabled and disabled) including their Workshop ID's? If you haven't already, I recommend checking your mods against this list of known broken and incompatible mods, both the first tab and especially the P&P DLC Patch tab. The original Extra Landscaping Tools (shows up as Natural Resource Brush ingame) is currently broken, but there is a replacement linked to in the sheet.
