Simulation error WHEN UNPAUSED: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object (no details) "

So, everything worked great on the last few days after the new patch. I took some time to fix broken mods when the patch first installed, I switched old mods with new ones as per the instructions, and the game ran as expected for days.

Yesterday, out of the blue, without changing anything, an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error appears double or triple as soon as I unpause.

When I pause, the message doesn't appear at all. I unpause, 2 seconds pass, and the error appears.

I've checked with the list of broken mods, I have none.

I've also tried the "Recover from simulation errors" option of LSM, no luck.

I found somewhere that probably Adaptive Networks Stable caused the problem. I subscribed to the Alpha version, but no luck either. (I switched back to the Stable version)

I also verified the integrity of game files. Same problem.

I also found KL Residential Props in this list of broken assets[docs.google.com]. I unsubscribed, the error persisted (resubscribed now).

Essentially I did everything I could find on recent discussions. Nothing works. As soon as I unpause, the error message appears.

(Shadow Strength Adjuster and the 3 "major issues" mods should be irrelevant. The game worked for days with these mods after the new patch - and they appear as issues mostly because they are abandoned, still they are required by other mods and assets)

Following. I've got the same problem. Similar issue too where it just appeared out of nowhere today. And only when unpaused.

Its worth giving it a go as it seems to have worked for me - try unsubing from BOB tree and prop replacer. No errors now! Hope that helps and hopefully it gets fixed soon.

remove PropRotating Params
You need this mod for your theme decals

remove more Network Stuff
remove Pollution, Death etc
remove Ultimate EyeCandy and use Play-it
remove unlock all roads
remove building themes and replace it with

Remove prefab hook
Remove Rockcliff mods which are disabled ---> unsubscribe them

Untick the game mods Unlimited Money, Oil & Ore ---> now in the Game Network Mod

It was BOB The Tree & Prop Replacer. Now that the mod has been updated there's no more error messages.
