Also, Cities: Skylines is a modern, 21st-century city-building game, not a 20th-century style one.
Instead of the blimps, I would rather go on the game's developers overhauling the default metro network to become like the Metro Overhaul Mod.
But for now everytime I gave them a chance they just can't handlöe the ammount of passengers and the second I connect a tram or bus line NOBODY useses them anymore.
I'd like to get some intel on what the hell people thought when they came up with the idea to implement them...
When used for long distance travel over fairly impassable terrain, the blimp rules.
This 7 tile long blimp line for example was really successful and cable cars over this sort of distance would have been slow and painful by comparison.

presumably you have the same opinion of canals which are 18th century.
i do enjoy reading your incorrect statements, they make me laugh each time and make me question the educational system of the Philippines. Airships are still used to carry passengers, mostly for tourism purposes and i for one love that are included in the game
