Whats a good fast way to get people to move to your city?

Provide good service coverage, build plenty of leisure, provide good public transport and Cims will flock in. Build the Hadron Collider and the Eden project and you'll have high land value, free education for all and no pollution = Cim magnet ;)

If everything is too slow, you can get a mod called "Demand Master".

It'll make sure people, commercial and industry will move in quickly, if you like.

I always have trouble with bus routes

I have a hard time connecting routes. I dont know how to do it.

You don't connect them to each other, you make many individual loops. I usually just make a long skinny loop that goes through all of RICO and loop back on the next street over. Sometimes I reverse a second loop on top of the first so buses go clockwise and counterclockwise both. But that's rare and usually in the heavy tourist districts.
