NO citizens take metro, why?
All stations are well-posited in hotspots, tunnel and route are no problem, but there are still no citizens in this line (though, there are a few in some other lines), do you have some ideas on it?

By the way, I sometimes have difficulty in adding stops in multi-platform metro stations, the route break down occasionally as well. I'm using the Mod: advanced stop selector. Do these things have some correlation?

If no-one takes the metro then the metro does not go where the people want to go.

Cims go to work and shopping, they do not visit each others. they go to parks etc but tourist go as well.

I do not build a metro before I have 100k!

It shouldn't be, at least a few passengers I believe? I have 40k now.

Actually I see some cims walk in station but walk out again, they didn't take metro.

Are you using vanilla metro stations?

snowflitzer is right. If cims do not use metro it is because metro line is broken, metro does not go where citizens want to go or they (citizens) have found an easier quicker way of getting to where they want to go.

I build my metro on a loose 120u x 120u grid, using

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1332854076&searchtext=two+platform+metro

which puts every thing and every one within easily acceptable walking distance from at lest one metro station. My citizens are so eager to ride they sometimes start off walking the wrong way to catch a ride if that is closer.

I've noticed sometimes when I log in, my Metro has "sunk" especially when using the duel metro cross and parallel. It's too far under ground for the people to get too. I've read this happens when you purchase a new city section. It should be between -10 and -30, and sometimes that's pushing it. Check your depth of the metro stations. Even though the lines are further underground, you just need to replace the stations. I've replaced my stations 3 times so far. Reconnect them to the lines and you should be good.

Thanks, it sounds like a reasonable way!

If the metro sinks when you buy a tile it is the 81-tiles mod. To avoid this issue, buy all tiles for free at the start..

HI,
Was having the same problem trying a station called The Simple Inner City Metro, I got off the Workshop. Deleted all these stations and replaced them with the standard one and all works now, Cims pouring into and out of my metro.

Hope this helps anyone else having this problem.

Yes thank you. I used the same stations and had the problem. Build the normal vanila stations and it worked.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
