i can't paint districts, can anyone help?

i was about to start trying to paint some new districts but every time i select a district that isn't the park the overlay goes away and i cant paint anything.

idk if i explained it very well but does anyone know how to fix this?

my city is 26k people so it isn't the population size

Make sure you use the correct district brush:

Do you own the ParkLife DLC? Did you reach the proper milestone to unlock the ability to create your specialized district?

Same issue here, it was all working fine before the update. I haven't bought the new DLC yet.

Okay, I have ALL the DLC...yes, Imma DLC 'ho...and I started a new city for this update. Caveat: I have not played in AGES and had no previous save files, so I had to start over. That said, I have made every sort of zone in this city, trying out things, and no district problems.

So...maybe try it on a new city? I would not be at all surprised if something got borked in a (beloved) city game save. :(

OKay, that didn't help, but at least this got bumped and someone knows your pain.

Hi @NanoGrrl I found the problem. It was the "More Advanced District Snapping" mod. I'm not saying this is the problem for everyone, but disabling this mod worked for me :)

Removing Advanced district Snapping worked for me last week and I was told that the conflict would be added to the Compatibility Report update. It should get flagged now.

I've been having the same problem the past couple of days after having just added the More Advanced District mod, which I had seen on a list of recommended mods. I just unsubscribed from that mod after having read this thread. Hopefully that takes care of it!

Make sure you check mod lists ages. This game was updated one month ago and needs a lot of special mods to be subscribed from old abandoned ones taken over by other people.

Make sure the mod supports version 1.15,x.xx of this game.
