Game graphics problem. MacBook Air M1
Hi All.
Help please with one problem. Today I downloaded the Cities Skylines to the MacBook Air M1. After it opened, I found that the text in the game is not very clear. I tried to change all the settings, but the change in settings does not help. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

What mods are you using?

How much RAM do you have?

This game doesn't support M1 Metal, so it uses the mac emulator (Rosetta), so maybe try shutdown and try again.

Make sure you have no workshop. check in content manager under mods and also workshop section there as well.

I'm running CS on a MacBook Pro M1 without problems. Check, if you still have the right options in the graphic menu. The last update put strange values there and I had to adjust:
16:10, 1920x1200 (not: 1728x1117 ;) ), fullscreen.

As hjo says above, make sure you set the resolution in the games settings to the same values as the native resolution of your display.

well, in my case the native display resolution is 3456 × 2234 (retina xdr display), so the proposed 1728x1117 resolution, would be the corresponding 1:1 native resolution. But choosing 1920x1200 leads to a very clear text display, too - and you get a lot of more information on the screen. In game you almost can't see any difference.
But you're right: same values as the native resolution always leads to the 'sharpest' results.

Thank you for your reply.
In my game, unfortunately, there is no such resolution in the settings, 1650x1280 and the next one is 2048x1280. Maybe are you know why?

Your MacBook Air M1 has a 13,3" display with a native resolution of 'just' 2560 x 1600 - so this would be the best choice for you, if this setting is available . If you choose 1280x800 you would have very sharp text, but of course less content on the screen. 1680 x 1050 or 1440 x 900 also could be a good solution, if offered by the game
