Varsity sports and stadium not recognized as part of university

I have a problem, my university no longer recognizes the varsity sports on campus. The tab for varsity sports is darkened despite still having all stadiums on campus. No Idea how this bug happened. Is there a way to undo this? I have rebuilt the stadiums, hasn't worked.

Are these in the same zoned area as the university is zoned?

If you don't have it, then that is why.

Yes they are in the zoned university area. The varsity sports worked for a long time in the area. Don't know what can cause it to malfunction,

It is in the campus area.

Unless you have a mod causing you issues?
Did you place a hardron collider?

I had the same issue, what caused it for me was I had an overlapping residential district that overlappedthe campus district after i removed the overlapped residential district it was working again.

No haven't built a hardron collider.

I think it might be a network mod for the roads causing the problem, but if i get rid of it then i can't load of the city.

I don't know honestly, but I would use this tip. I try to avoid overlapping districts and always have a small gap in-between them, e.g. a road not zoned

I have the same issue. The only solution I've found is to destroy the sports facility in question and re-build it for the Varsity tab to re-activate.

that worked for me, but every time I go to load the city after doing that and saving it, I have the same problem. Doesn't go away.
