Is GeForce Experience Crashing Peoples Games?
I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with Geforce Experience crashing the game? For the longest time yesterday, my game never got past the loading screen and I tired practically everything that was recommended to me. I eventually downloaded the newest patch for my Nvidia graphics card and then my game worked. What I didnt realize was that in doing so uninstalled Geforce Experience and then today I reinstalled it and the game began crashing again. Is this Cities Skylines problem or should I not be using Geforce Experience?

It may be one of your mods. Same thing happened to me this weekend. It didn't get past the loading screen. What I did was disabled all my mods and started a new game and it worked. Now, I have to find out which one of my 71 mods is messing up my game

I would never use Geforce Experience. I only use the Nvidia Control Panel to fine tune settings for programs or games.

If not controlled NVidia can eat into your resources if not reigned in. You have to ask yourself if you really need the GeForce Experience or you just want the drivers.

Do you have a process called NVRLA.exe running and/or a long list of NVidia Containers?

If you have the time take a look at this video ..

You don't need all that rubbish Clunk. Just when you the new download, make a clean install. Never had any issues in over 2 years :)

if you want to clean your computer save from any crap use "BleachBit". It clean easy 10GB from my disk every fortnight.

Not sure if you read my post correctly. I am advising doing the minimal install of drivers only, without the bloat, unless you really want a particular nVidia feature. If so, add that, but not install the full suite of everything regardless.

Personally I have only the minimum installed and it works fine.
