Custom Map does not load

Can Anyone help please?

I have created a custome map in the editor for the achievement. And decieded to try playing it.

I worked out you need to publish the map for it to show in the list.

But when i go: New Game > select map > loading

When the map loads, there is nothing there. No land at all. Just what looks like to be the sky.

The menus are all there, but no kind of landmass at all.

Its almost as if i were looking vertically up, but changing the zoom, and angles does nothing.


I'm clearly missing something, but i have no idea what.

Anyone know what is happening here?

Sounds strange, especially if you made the map. I make my own maps all the time and never came across this. A few things come into mind to check. Did you use a custom Theme? Did you click the radio button to publish the map to your list prior to saving the map? Did you add any custom assets including trees to your map?

If you want to publish to the workshop then click Share Map on your map asset list and upload it. I'd be happy to give it try.

its not just custom maps, i have exactly the same problem but in every map. In all of them i just see like the horizon...

That sounds like a mod problem. Dynamic Resolution is still busted and kinda sounds like it could be at fault for you. If you have that turn it off until the author says its all clear.

That appears to be it!,

After doing a vanilla city for achievements, i re-enabled all my mods, then created a new map for that achievement. Tried to load it and nothing.

It was the damned mod. I guessed it must have been one of them, but missed that one.

I figured it out so go to content manager >maps then press enable all.
