Import/export and zones
Hi

When you look at the outside connections view you get buildings showing if they are importing or exporting. Fair enough.

However if they are in a zone - say specialist organic and local produce - do they show they are importing/exporting from that zone to somewhere else which could be elsewhere in the city, or that they are doing so city wide - so importing and exporting only from outside the city? Given its outside connections I had assumed that they were showing imports etc from outside the whole city. But now I'm not so sure.

I think that industries dlc zone profits work off anything that enters/leaves the zone. So a building makes a profit (and adds to the zone profit) if its goods etc leave the zone, and a loss if it gets something from outside the zone (whether from in the city or elsewhere). So do their outside connections show for the zone or the city? If only for the zone is this the same for the base game zones?

The import/export numbers you see in the info view are all between your city and outside connections.

Commercial and different industries do exchange materials/goods between each other within your city. But don't know how to keep track of that.

Same with income/expenses from different area's. It's hard to keep track off.

The export/import is first calculated when the goods/raw material leaves/ enters the map.
