Today, I suddenly got this error and it keeps popping up when I close it:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object [System.NullReferenceException]

Details:
No details
I unfollowed the latest mod I installed but it didn't change anything. So I checked my mods and noticed that I had the Harmony mod 2 times. So, I disabled the older one (2.0.4) and also wanted to unfollow it but I can't find it on steam. Even disabling all mods didn't eradicate this error.

Any ideas what else might cause this error?

Just had a look - something is affecting Additive Shader. Check any assets/mods you installed around the time of the issue.

Yeah sometimes it's an asset but not sure if it would cause this error.
I certainly had plenty of fun (not really) before I found out this little prop was causing havoc:

I already checked the latest mods and assets that I added but it didn't change anything.
I also did find that not only the Additive Shader was activated but somehow also its beta version. So, I deactivated that, too. But didn't help, either.

I would unsubscribe the version you’re not using rather than just disabling it.

If you're subscribed to Metro Overhaul, this can happen when you load an old save and don't have a Depot placed; perhaps another mod is trying to create something but needs X building to operate?

did you go through those assets comments by any chance?
I'd first remove all those 11 world trade center assets and see if that helps
If it does - unfortunately you can't use those assets for whatever reason - same as other users.

Yes, I did deactivate all world trade center assets. Didn't help. I also tried deactivating most of the other recent assets. Nothing helped.
