Schools Missing in Education tab

So I'm working on my current city, and went to place an Elementary school when i realized its completely missing from the education tab as well as the high schools. Nothing else is missing in any of the other services tabs, and all of my colleges are available. I checked to make sure no assets were missing via the Load Screen mod, verified the game files via Steam, European style is on etc. I've tried all the "fixes" I can find but haven't seen this particular issue mentioned anywhere.

What am I missing here?

I should add that the school assets are still available in RICO, and also those already placed have been changed from schools to "Residential" (as though I'd placed the buildings with RICO)

Maybe RICO changed your schools, and that's why they're no longer showing up in the section they're supposed to.

I guess I'll try unsubbing from RICO and go from there; good thought!

Yup that fixed it! Can't believe with all the fixes I tried, this one didn't occur to me. Thanks for that!

All of my education tabs are empty since the latest update. Nothing else changed. Ive never used RICO

For anyone else having this issue in the future, perhaps you're using the "Better Education Toolbar[..]" mod.
Removing this brought back all my education buildings.
Removing RICO didn't do anything for me personally and that worked.
I guess it was broken and not discovering the assets properly?

I've tried various "fixes," but none work. I don't have the Better Education Toolbar. I do have RICO installed, but I can't remember the last time I used it. I'm just at a loss. Everything else is there, but all schools are missing from the Education tab.

I'm having the same problem. I have Ploppable RICO Revisited, no Better Education Toolbar. I noticed this a few weeks ago. I can search for the schools but they aren't listed i the appropriate tabs.

use find it 2 to search the missing assets by name.
once found reset their local RICO settings.

Thanks for pointing me to the Better Education thingy, Rusty, I was pretty frustrated until I found this.
