sewage not working
I have my sewage outlet down river from the intake. The pipes are connected and showing that they are flowing. The outlet has power yet the outlet is not operating.

Sometimes it takes a little while before the outlet actually starts pumping out sewage. If the amount of sewage is very little, it might not show at all, or barely.

If the outlet is connected to the sewage system and has electricity, it should work fine.

You can always select the outlet, and see if it's operating normally or not. If it's operating normally, increase your city's population so more poop comes out...

Hmm... Can you make a screenshot and show the situation?

Did you accidentally turn off funding for the outlet? Or perhaps there is not enough money being generated in taxes to pay for it.

Maybe you had 'snapping' turned off. The sewage pipe might look connected but it's not.

Try bulldozing the segment connected to the outlet, and reconnect. (make sure you've got snapping turned on when you do)

Did that and snapping was turned on for everything from the start no joy.

Here is a closeup shot, you can see that the pipe is connected.

What's up with those other pipes in the third picture that aren't connected?
MarkJohnson Aug 27, 2021 @ 10:12am
It doesn't look connected. It is offset a tiny bit.

Move the sewage drain downstream a little and try attaching the water pipe to it again.

Or move the sewage upstream and see if it attaches to the pipe? You will know it is attached when you wiggle the drain, it should make the drain wiggle and you can see it stays attached to the pipe.

Do you have any buildings that produce sewage? I just tried and it took a bit of time after the first sims move it for the sewage to work.

Have you been on pause the whole time? Operations only start after some in-game time has passed.

if there is something wrong, you would be notified - as far as I remember in the building chart you would see that "there are problems" and these problems would be mentioned, like "no power" ect. I see no problems, so it should be okay.

Unpause the game and let it go for day or two (in-game time).

If it doesnt work, then my first guess would be that somehow you have made two separate lines - I mean: your water and savage system is not fully connected. Could You post a screenshot of whole area - from the bird wiev, with water/savage layer?

Got it working. Moved the funding down and back up (eventhough it was on max) for some unknown reason the game did not recognize the fact that it was funded.
