Why can't we make tram tracks over existing roads?
Surely that would make sense. It was done to make a tramway in my city so I'm unsure why it can't be done here

I think he means like in Cities in Motion, where you lay tram-tracks on existing roads, without rebuilding the entire road. I know the engine cant handle it, but I would love to see the public transport from Cities in Motion in Cities Skylines.

Really, I hope in CSL2 (if it happens) that we'll get lane control and it'll figure it out. I hate that there's 400 different 3-lane-one-way roads on the workshop. The game should just let you pick which lanes you want (pedestrian, bike, parking, car, ...) and figure out the model itself.
