Menu and toolbar are Transparent
so I've played a lot of this game and the other day i encountered a glitched referred to as "blue roads" as it makes roads blue. So i looked up a fix and the fix is re load the game, easy enough. I reloaded the game and problem fixed, great but now the toolbar at the bottom is transparent... I've done the research into the problem but i just cant find a solution. Any advice will be appreciated!!!!!

Can you provide us at least with a screenshot and output log?
This happens to me "IF AND ONLY IF" i reload my save directly from "Live/City" mode. And the only solution is to "ALWAYS SAVE, THEN EXIT TO MAIN MENU, THEN RELOAD MY SAVE THERE". By the way I am not shouting with this post. I am merely highlighting the solution/workaround I have found that works for me. Also this seems to be related to having every DLC and possibly RAM related as well. Although in my case this only began happening AFTER I purchased every other DLC, because prior yo purchasing everything I only had After Dark which I purchased way back in 2016. So yeah, when more stuff got added the issue reared its ugly head.

NEVER DO A SECOND LOAD!
Always quit to the desktop between loads!

This is a Unity game. Which means you can’t do a second load safely. Don't try.

A second-load is loading another map/save when one has been loaded before in the current session, including after quitting to the main menu. The game loads in two halves, one part on the Paradox logo, and one part during the loading screen. By loading a second time, the game forces all content to load twice, which causes problems. Including a serious memory leak because you're loading all the content in the game into your RAM twice.

Meh...

My way works fine thank you very much.

If the Devs didn't want us to utilize the reload function then they should have disabled the ability to reload to begin with.

Plus it is a bit of a hassle to Save your progress, exit the game, relaunch the game and reload your save, when you can just exit to main menu and reload right then and there.

Also in my experience with testing and using mods for the game, only klyte's "Electric Roads" mod is the one mod that makes going back to main menu not possible as that mod outright crashes the game when you exit to main menu.

Yup, that's the exact same issue I encounter whenever I reload within city/game mode and as I said the only workaround I know of that works is to reload at main nenu.

About the blue roads issue you are having, I've read somewhere that it is caused by a mod, Network Skins maybe? And that the issue is purely cosmetic.

The blue roads issue is caused by running out of free RAM. The system doesn't have enough free RAM left to render the roads properly.

And since any form of reloading from inside the game doubles RAM use, you should not be doing that.
