What happened to the CRISGAMES/CSG games assets?
Looks like they were pulled from the workshop? What gives? Those were practically all the military mods

I've noticed his assets were suddenly removed from the workshop as well. Looks like he pulled a False Lucidity move and decided to quit from C:S for reasons only known to him. And like False Lucidity, CRS Games/CRISGAMES was a very prolific asset creator. What a damn shame. I've had so much respect for those two creators and for them to suddenly pull the rug from us subscribers is just low and unexpected. :(

It's terrible, a ton of the vehicle mods, most of the military/civil aviation mods + props, a ton of mods centered around Italy, civil and naval ships for our ports, what the hell happened?

He's got a youtube channel with let's plays (in italian) that includes C:S content - nothing recent regarding C:S though

Most of his assets on citiesmods.com link straight to steam for download. smods.ru doesn't have his full collection. Oof

I've seen this happen before when modders get hired by a company and the assets get removed and incorporated into the company.

You can usually download them from websites. It may take a while.

You can check your workshop folder and see if they're still there. If you made a backup, you may be able to find them there as well.

loved his cars. They all came up missing today. I hate when people remove their content.

That would make sense if there was going to be monetization, which outside of locking his mods behind, say, a patreon paywall, he couldn't do because CO wouldnt allow it

@propermike - there was A LOT of content - False Lucidity was a big deal but he didn't have nearly 1/10th of the assets.

@Pot8821: Yes, but in False Lucidity's case, his assets were more of low density residentials, police stations, and schools, as well as a few props made for them. He had a collection of custom cars too but not as much compared to CRISGAMES. Either way, their assets were beautiful and sorely missed.

Well, Adora_ble lessened the sting of FL's missing assets by having most of them restored in the workshop last month. As for CRISGAMES' assets, it's going to be a strenuous amount of work to restore his own assets back here.

He changed his account name and locked it, I'm crossing fingers that he relists the assets

His now locked page: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Crisgames2019

@osarak63 - I hope so too but we're talking hundreds of assets - 95% of the warships, practically all of the US/NATO military aircraft - luckily there are some aircraft parks that another modder made with his permission for air museums. Most of my subbed car assets are (were) his or ninjanoobslayers. Almost 100 pages of workshop assets - gone

Yeah, I've noticed his username is different recently. If I remember before he recently removed his assets just about today, he was currently CRG GAMES when he was previously known as CRISGAMES. I used to comment on his asset threads but he deleted my posts for thinking they add either irrelevance to his assets or were just plain annoying to him. I just wanted to make suggestions to him to create entirely new assets as that was what I was doing in his threads at the time. Seems the guy is rather curt and somewhat unfriendly when responding to other people's comments. That eventually cost him part of my respect points for him.

I get if he was designing assets primarily for his own use, he just released the Italian fish industry+vehicles for SH for example so I don't think he walked from the game, but even if he did why pull all your assets?
Had a look for them on citiesmods.com and they are just linked back to steam. As no luck there.
Any other suggestions on how we might be able to get them back..
