For Industries DLC: Choose an area with the resource you want to produce. Create a district over the area using Paint Industrial Area. Place a main building for the industry you want. Once you do that, a few more buildings become available to get you started. As production increases, the area will level up and more buildings become available.
When I made an Industries zone, even though I placed the Ag prerequisite building, all the yellow industrial I painted, filled with generic industrial buildings. With this DLC, do you JUST add the Industries plots? No painting yellow?
And if I want the old industries popping up, do they interact with the DLC content?
I'm thinking I need to zone AG, then insert a sub-zone of DLC for this to work.

They're found in the same place with the garbage stuff, just in different tabs.
When you go to make the industrial zone make sure you use the right district painter. It'll be the painter with the factory in the icon. You'll get confused if you just use the normal district painter because that only makes the vanilla specialized zones, and you can't place the InDLC buildings outside of their zones.
