Blurry text at 4K @ native resolution
Hiho, playing the game in 4k seems very blurry, at least the text. I use the native resolution of my monitor (3840 x 2160pixel) but the text is so blurry, at least in the city-guideline (if that is the correct word in english) on the right side of the sceenshot.
Turning on/off AA don't changed anything. Graphics are maxed out. Any suggestions?

For everyone saying this, try looking at the image on a 4k screen. If you don't have one you can't see what the OP is talking about. I saw it immediately, yes it's blurry af and mines the same. (hence ended up here).

The font selector mod doesn't change anything.

I have 4k and it looks the same as my my 1440p monitor. Looks like the screenshot as well. I do not use workshop.

I even set windows resolution to 1080p at 100% scaling.

It was the same in all resolutions.

Maybe check your mods?

Text is always slightly blurry. That screenshot shows the normal state. Exactly same in my 4K screen.

This absolutely fixes the issue .. at least it is no longer blurry initially at 4K resolution .. BUT .. you will likely have to increase the UI size (it is very small at the default settings) .. which might make the problem recur.

The bottom line is .. if you upscale the images in things like the "Policies" text, it will show signs of upscaling (blurriness). If you don't upscale it at 4k, you will likely have issues reading it. But a combination of the Font Select mod and the UI Resolution mod will allow you to pick what you want for this.

The Actual UI size is controlled in the Options - Graphics page .. not in the Mod Section of Options (took me a while to find it .. see the pictures on the mod's page in Workshop).

It doesn't fix anything. It just scales back UI to 96 dpi, making it unreadable.

Yes, it makes it small coz it's back to the native 4k 1:1 scale which isn't the best solution. But it is nice and sharp like everything else now. It is perfect for me as I have a big screen so I can still read everything quite easily and I have more space to see my city 😀.

As prev comment said you could combine this with the font selector and increase the font size as well to balance out the small text but the UI icons in the game will still pretty small.

Hopefully, something better comes out that works with peoples preferred UI calling size.
