"when i add tram tracks to existing tram tracks" is a bit confusing.
The first image is the route as it was originally. Next I try to drag that stop to the random track I've added but no matter what I do it will not connect with the rest of the route. The crazy part is that if I "upgrade" the next section of track to another type and then back to the original type it connects fine. Only then it doesn't connect with the next section!
Hmm, TrafficManager was updated late May so this might be why when you came back the tram issue was gone. Now it sound like TrafficManager or those roads and Traffic Manager.
Edit: Just guessing though.
Either way I am guessing for I don't use those roads nor TrafficManager. If you downloaded a tram car asset it too could be the issue. Best to wait for someone willing to download all the workshop items and do a proper test. I only mention my guess in order for you to test certain things while you wait and possibly stumble across a solve.
