Does anyone use a controller to play CS?

I'm used to playing on xbox one. It is SO much easier than trying to use keyboard and mouse and remembering what keys for what. I also have this game on my imac and the basic download with a handful of dlc's/mods run fine, but there's gotta be a way to add a controller to this, then i think i could fly thru it being fluent and all with the controller. Preferably an xbox controller. anyone?

I've tried using my Steam controller to play it on the tv downstairs, but I far prefer keyboard and mouse upstairs in front of the computer.

I've considered trying it. Playing with a mouse is starting to make my hand hurt. I just fear there's not enough precision with a controller.

ok, after a bunch of searching and trying different things, i got the xbox one controller working on my imac (running catalina). here is a link to the video explaining it (not mine): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88mREyZOkpY the controller works great, i had to modify some of the keymapping in the settings, the right stick can only be used to move the mouse cursor, but other than that it's great. no issues. hope this helps everyone else too.

Good for you, I'm glad you got it sorted.
I'll stick with my Steam controller, which is totally key bindable and stream to the tv, but I will stay using the keyboard and mouse in front of the computer. I'm far happier to relax and watch streaming video content to the tv than playing games on it. The PC is far better suited to that.
