Plus make sure your arena has good transport links, or people arrive late and get a negative response.
Im not listening to the radio station at all. Is that actually an factor?
And it does have pretty much trafficless acces to the area and normally its pretty much sold out before the concert starts so i dont think people get there too late but as Slye Fox mentioned, maybe the ticket price is too low, which i would find weird that people rate the bands low just because they had to spend less money :D
I honestly dont know if it is. As I said though, the ones I listed too tend to get a better response. One factor you might have overlooked is the weather. If you have dynamic weather on, going to a gig when its freezing and raining itsnt a great experience for you Cims.
No for my the weather is off so that couldnt be the issue either. Maybe, just maybe there is a mod that causing this?
When it was all said and done I only made $4,000 off the concert. However, when thinking about it: even with full attendance and a higher ticket price, there's no way you'd make a profit at Stage 1 spending $12,000 a week.
I had the radio station set, but was also listening to the TV so I did mute the radio at that point. I hope that isn't part of the game. That'd be stupid as hell.
I then did a double change. Moved the center in the middle of town next to an elementary and high school, and jacked the prices from 10 to 40. Started pulling in high positive teen popularity numbers every since. Don't know if it was the price jack, move or both that caused the change.
My concerts original spot was never hurting for vistors. It was a high tourist area with a football stadium across the street that would pull in 600+.
IMO the feedback loop of this dlc is incredible poor. That or it's bugged. Zoom down to a sold out concert and hear the crowd cheering, and poof negative 19 drop. Where you supposed to go with that other than blindly throwing darts hoping to find a solution.
In that order, I saw the impact of ticket prices (artist with lowest ticket price fell dramatically in popularity, while the artist with raised ticket prices rose in popularity. Artist with default price stayed the same).
Once I saw this, I went ahead and raised all three prices to the same amount, and all three began to rise, with Nestor struggling the most/rising the slowest for me.
Ive only played the DLC a few hours in one sitting so far, so havent had 7 concerts yet, but i have reached the 70 popoularity rating. Shoudl be able to upgrade the venue fairly soon once I get a chance to play again.
