Since it is a new PC, maybe a bad stick of RAM. Someone else may know more on the game side of things.
I have mismatched RAM like that before. The faster ones should adjust to the speed of the slower ones. However, I don't know if it always works like that. As a test you could try pulling out the different stick and launching the game.
If you set your memory speed to 3000MHz, then it likely won't work without tweaking. Sets are designed in pairs, so having more than 2 is likely to give issues.
Do like said above and test with the matched pair first. then test. Maybe try the single stick by itself and test as well.
They may all work well if you lower the rating to 2933 MHz or 2666 MHz.
What setting are they set at by default?
Default speed is 2133mhz. How to make it work at advertised speed?
Thanks
You can't get them to wprk at advertised speeds as they are two different types. You will have to manually lower the speeds. Disable XMP profiles. Then go to DRAM speeds and manually set them to 3000 MHz and pray it will work. Otherwise, keep lowering it and it should work.
If you don't want to mess with the BIOS settings. The Ryzen master (or whatever it's called) will allow you to adjust the memory settings. Then it will save it to the BIOS for you. Just make sure to stress test the memory before saving the setting.
But reset the BIOS (Clear CMOS jumper on motherboard) and make sure XMP is disabled after the bios reset.
You can download the motherboard manual from Gigabyte and read through it as well.
EDIT:
Make sure you have the latest MB BIOS (Version 5.1 is the latest) for the best RAM support.
I was neglecting the importance of having the latest drivers installed. My mobo was F50, updated to F51 and XMP profile seems stable at 3000mhz now, with all 3 sticks plugged in. I was planning to update it anyway but i couldn't imagine this would be a reason for crashes.
Thank you for pointing me in right direction.
