Do you guys has same error code in your output-log file?
1. You have 81 tiles mod installed
2. You have more than 25 areas in the savegame
Just wait for the update of 81 tiles then
And 3. You have extra train station track mod installed and you have elevated or underground train station, Bloodypenguin is going to update the mod, just stay tune
Thank you!
I have NO MODS active (since days - testing myself in vanilla mode) and I still get the Null Exception message. Game was fine in the early hours of today (CET). Not now. I had the extra train station track mode installed, but it was de-activated and therefore the game gave me an error for two assets: Boformer's Sunken Station and Gare d'Orsay - which are anyway not placed in the current city. So now I disabled these assets too. Shouldn't strictly be necessary. The mod message disappeared (confirming that action) but it made NO difference to the System Null Ref. Exception. The error is there in absolutely plan vanilla mode. Mods may make it worse ... but they are not the SOLE cause.
Please, Paradox developers get onto this... stuck at home and not able to play is really frustrating!

I can start a new city and save it quite normally. So the game works for new cities... on its own not wonderfully helpful. :-)
In my no-mods city, it seems the message comes in threes. If you press Enter three times quickly, it takes about 3 seconds until the message reappears and then needs again three "Enters". Then repeats. So either the game is testing all assets and finding the same error on hundreds of them... or it is stuck in a loop... Whatever, even after 15 minutes of pressing Enter, the error was still appearing and I gave up. Needs a bug fix Paradox, please!
