Warehouses not shipping out goods even when set to empty.
I noticed the problem started around the time the new DLC came out, but most of my warehouses, crop storage, and oil storing facilities are not shipping out any freight even when I set it to empty. Of course this is ruining my economy as offices and Industry get filled with goods. Building cargo hubs does not help the problem.

Strangely my wood and ore storage works fine. I notice that warehouses built after DLC are the ones that do not work. Sadly for me that is more than half of them.

I've noticed that sometimes too. Sometimes I can get them to empty by setting them to a different good, but even that sometimes didn't work.

Yeah currently trying that and it's not working. Im starting to wonder if this problem is pre-DLC as I always wondered why my farm area crop storage would fill up and yet my animal buildings would often say they lack crops. I wonder if they was ever sending out trucks.

Right now my storage are full and my crop fields supply the animal buildings and ship out goods directly because the storage refuse to send out any trucks.

Hey SP, Try leaving the warehouse balanced; then try one set at full and another set at empty label being all with Industry Farming zones . The new game is in it's Beta stage they are still trimming the bugs off...also there mus be trucking yards with the warehouses. good luck BN

Hi SP, Try putting silo's (on farming toolbar) next to the animals pens...Good luck BN

Right now I am trying to see if doing what you said makes a diff (one on empty and one on fill). But I always build my storage buildings close to the buildings that make/need em inside the zone. Only exception being the unique factories where I have one of each resource they need, and they are not working either... Or at least not all of them. Crops being among the ones that don't work.

Sadly after letting the game play for a while setting the warehouse and silos (three each) on empty, fill and balance does not fix the problem. All six simply fill up and don't empty without sending trucks..

Are any of the trucks from the warehouse in use? A previous city, I wasn't paying attention and I had too much production. All my warehouse trucks were exporting goods, yet they were filling faster then the trucks could export. Which caused buildings to complain not enough goods because there were no vehicles able to deliver to commercial zones.

No it says for my medium warehouses "freight trucks in use: 0/24" or in the case of large silos and Large oil tanks"0/29"

Okay strange thing happened. I reset my water level which caused a lot of my base game farm, oil, ore and forest industry buildings (non DLC industry) to get abandoned due to lack of water and now my warehouses are working again. ???

Ima have to wait and see if the problem returns once these buildings auto rebuild.

Update: sadly the warehouses, Silos and oil storage went back down to 0 trucks in use.

I don't understand why losing generic oil, farm, forest and ore industries made my warehouses and storage building work, but would the solution be then to delete them?

I'm starting to suspect there's no valid road connection between storage buildings and the buildings trying to request materials from them, which leads to storage trucks failing to spawn. Extracted raw materials can be used by both the DLC buildings and zoned specialized industry.

Hmm I do have an island (with a small farm industry on it) that I don't want to build a road to instead I use ships and planes to connect it... Let me try and see if it fixes the problem.
silentprince001 Apr 5, 2020 @ 2:04am
Okay I built a bridge to my Island and It did help with my industries saying they had no buyers, BUT my warehouses still are not sending out trucks even when set to empty.

Update: Okay I notice the game goes in cycles, so my Industries was doing good, but now they are back to saying they have no customers. Also I have no demand for commercial, and even though I build commercial zones nothing in growing in them.

Can someone please help?

So I figured out the problem sadly...

The game has a limit of how many cars can be on the road to which I am 16332/16384 (or in other words 35 cars short of the limit) thus it refuses to spawn in new cars.
