Education is low .. what am I missing ?
Hi,

i went though the wikis and the guides here and here is my problem

i have a high-density residential zone with all education facilities (elementary, high and university). i have many of each and all roads in the zone are green for each level.

when zones start to fill up, cims are mostly uneducated adults, however buildings still colored red when i open the education information panel, after some time elementary education colors starts to get higher but i never reached high colors in high or university education levels.

i enables education Booster policy and Industry 4.0 policy to force teens to go to school than work but that didn't help as well

What am i missing ? Industries are falling because no educated worker

i'm on Cities: Skyline

thanks for the help :)

You have to wait for kids to age and pass through the education system from elementary through high school and then graduate to go on to university. When most of that generation and the generations after that have been fully educated will your overall city population see a clear increase on what it is today ;)

If the cims are uneducated then it depends on their ages, don't think a 20 old cims go to elementary school! You need to produce babies for that.

Usually, education takes time, they need to go through each level of education and then graduate and go to the next one.

If you have you could put a community college down that is then for the 20-year-old uneducated ones :)

The booster policy means that the houses within range of the schools get a boost in value,

Industry 4.0 means that the industry uses higher educated people instead of uneducated factory workers.

Again it will take time. How long have you waited?

Then make sure cims have easy access to the schools, walk and/or transport, the same is for the industries

If that's the education boost policy it actually makes cims prioritise education over working. They still have to be at the relevant level to be educated though depending on age.
