TMPE: Road limitations not working?!

Hi all,

I have added a bus only road. I have disabled everything except busses with TMPE v11. Now my industry starts overwhelming that road with trucks!!

What is happening there, I have no idea.
Do you have?

I did disable in the mod section of TMPE that trucks and normal cars can use bus lanes. That has worked so far.

I think I might have come across these issues ones when you block all traffic except busses alone it works for a while and ever so often you find a truck on it. Hasn't happened with the first option.

Assuming it's a valid bus only road (some workshop roads are not proper bus roads) then the "ban private cars and trucks on bus lanes" option in Policies tab in TMPE mod options should help with that.

Note also that TMPE vehicle restrictions aren't bans, they are pathfinding penalties. So if vehicle is struggling to find alternate route it might be forced to break the rules just to reach its destination.

You can set the "Vehicle restriction agression" option higher if you want to increase the penalty multiplier but be warned it could cause vehiceles not to find routes if you've put vehicle restrictions all over your city.

Hum... ok, that sounds like the logical reason. I have separated the train hub from the roads and by that wanted to prevent trucks from going there.
But I need workers, so I added a busroad to that area and then, all the trucks came up...
Seems, it is "easier" to push by truck the goods instead of use the train station, that I build by proxy :(
